April 2020 East Nusa Tenggara Inflation of 0.07 percent

Abstract

April 2020, East Nusa Tenggara experienced an inflation of 0.07 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.79. Kupang City experienced an inflation of 0.19 percent, KotaMaumere experienced a deflation of 0.06 percent, and KotaWaingapu experienced a deflation of 0 , 80 percent.
April 2020 inflation in East Nusa Tenggara occurred because of an increase in the price index in 5 of the 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest price index increase was the personal care and other services group which rose by 1.25 percent.
In April 2020, out of 90 National CPI sample cities, 39 cities experienced inflation and 51 cities experienced deflation. The city experiencing the highest inflation occurred in Bau-Bau City by 0.88 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Cirebon City by 0.02 percent. While the largest deflation occurred in Pangkal Pinangs City by 0.92 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Semarang by 0.02 percent.
