Abstract

  • In June 2022, a combination of 3 cities in Nusa Tenggara Timur experienced 0,52 percent inflation with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109,79. Kupang City experienced 0,51 percent inflation, Maumere City experienced 0,83 percent inflation and Waingapu City experienced 0,20 percent inflation.
  • Inflation in June 2022 in Nusa Tenggara Timur occurred due to an increase in the price index in 6 of the 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest increase in the price index was the transportation group, which rose 3,21 percent.
  • In June 2022, of the 90 cities sampled by the National CPI, 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation. The city that experienced the highest inflation was Gunungsitoli City at 2,72 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in Pontianak City at 0,07 percent. Meanwhile, the largest deflation occurred in Kendari City at 0,61 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan City at 0,03 percent.
