2026 Farmer Welfare Survey Field Data Collection

Agriculture is the backbone of the nation's economy. It serves not only as a source of food but also as a vital support for the livelihoods of millions of farming households across Indonesia.

To assess the conditions of agricultural households, BPS conducts the Farmer Welfare Survey (SKP), which serves as the foundation for compiling the Farmer Welfare Index (IKP).

In support of the 2026 SKP, BPS Rote Ndao is supervising data collection activities across several districts. The resulting welfare indicators are expected to facilitate the formulation of effective policies, thereby enhancing farmer welfare and safeguarding food sovereignty.
